Looking for a career in the electrical construction industry? Become a craft certified journeyperson through our Earn while you Learn program.
While serving in the US Military, you gained experience in leadership, safety and critical thinking. We will help you transition those skills into a career that offers competitive wages, no- or low-cost health care and pensions. We are committed to serving our veterans with options of direct interview or direct entry into our apprenticeship program. This means, an honorably discharged veteran will qualify for direct interview and if you possess at least two years of military experience in an electrical Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), you may qualify for direct entry.
For over 20 years, our federal registered apprenticeship program has graduated hundreds of journeypersons (skilled electricians) to work in the electrical construction industry. Many have moved up the skilled trades ladder to management roles including owners of electrical contracting businesses. We offer a tuition-free 4-year program where our apprentices attend class one night week while working full-time with one of our contractors earning on-the-job training hours credit and a competitive wage. You can use your Montgomery G.I. Bill benefits to supplement your income, if necessary.
